  • On Day 1, you will arrive in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam and later go on a city tour of Hanoi. The quest to explore major Vietnam tourist attractions begins at the Temple of Literature and the Ba Dinh Square. Finally, you will go on a fun-filled ‘cyclo’ ride and is perhaps the most sought after things to do in Hanoi. 
  • On Day 2, go on a Halong Bay cruise and stay aboard overnight.
  • On Day 3, you will travel from Halong Bay to Hanoi and then proceed to Da Nang, a coastal city. On this leg of your Vietnam Tour Packageyou will visit the brand new Golden Bridge.
  • On Day 4, you will go on a full day tour of Ba Na Hills, a hill resort perched 1,500m high on a mountain.
  • On Day 5, you will go on a city tour of Hoi An and spend the evening leisurely.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrive in Hanoi; Hanoi City Tour

Arrive in Hanoi, where you will be greeted at the Noi Bai Airport by the Vietnam Tour Package guide and driver. Later, our driver will take you to your hotel. Once you check-in, you will get ready for the city tour.

The tour begins at the Temple of Literature. This well-preserved temple honours the finest scholars of Vietnam and is also the site of the first university of Vietnam. The temple displays traditional Vietnamese architecture and is dedicated to Confucius (Khong Tu), a Chinese sage and scholar. From here you will continue onto Ba Dinh Square. Located adjacent to Ho Chi Minh complex, this is one of the biggest squares in Hanoi and is popular as several significant national historical events took place here. Also in the square is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which is the final resting place of the most iconic leader of the country, Ho Chi Minh. Lastly, you will go on a fun-filled ‘cyclo’ ride which is similar to a rickshaw which begins at the Old Quarter and terminates at the Hoan Kiem Lake.

You will stay overnight in Hanoi on the first day of the Vietnam Tour Package.

DAY 2

Hanoi to Halong; Overnight Cruise

After a hearty breakfast, you will check-out of the hotel. You will be picked up by shuttle bus around 8 am from where you will begin travelling east for 3 hours to Halong Bay. En route, you will pass by the Red River Delta which is fringed by lush paddy fields and lively rustic villages where farmers toil ploughing through fields and watering their plants.

Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is known for its lush rainforests, numerous islands, and serene emerald waters. Once you reach Halong Bay, you will take a big boat cruise to explore the island. Get ready to be whisked away into the waters and discover the beauty of the ‘descending-dragon’ bay which is dotted with clusters of limestone rocks and karst grottoes. You will eat a scrumptious meal on the boat and after that visit the Surprising Grotto which is a cave in the middle of Halong Bay. After this, you can stop for some kayaking or swimming (at your own expense), pass by several bustling floating villages and all through the way, enjoy the beauty of the small islands. In the evening, you will partake in activities organised on the boat if not you can choose to relax on your own on this leg of your Vietnam Tour Package.

DAY 3

Halong Bay to Hanoi to Da Nang (by flight)

After a wholesome breakfast on the ship, you will go on to visit Luon Cave, an open air cave. To reach the entrance your boat needs to pass through a 3 meter wide and a 100-meter long arch. On passing the arch, you will be awed by the limestone cliffs plunging into the sere green waters. After a while, you will head back to the Wharf. Along the way, you will pass by several islands such as Sail Island, Cock-Fighting Rock, Sea Dog Rock or Incense Burner Rock. Once you are back, you will make your way to the airport in Hanoi for a flight in the night to Da Nang. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check-in.

DAY 4

Da Nang - Full-Day Ba Na Hills Tour; Da Nang to Hoi An

After breakfast, you will make your way to Ba Na Hills and take the cable car to the top of the mountains. Ba Na Hills is a resort complex on the top of a mountain which resembles a medieval castle. While riding the cable car, you will make stops along the way at Night station to visit Vong Nguyet Hills, the Linh Ung Pagoda and the Old French villas. Next, you will move further and reach Nui Chua Mountain. Here you will visit the Golden Bridge. It’s 150 meters long and 1400 meters above sea level and is held up by two stone-coloured hands. From the bridge, you will get sweeping views on several mountains that encircle you. Next go further up to Nginh Phong, Le Nim Villas, and the Orchid Garden. Additionally, you can also ride the hill climbing train, visit a French cellar and stroll through the colourful flower garden. After all that sightseeing, in the afternoon you will spend time in Fantasy Park which is the third biggest in the country. After a fun-filled few hours, your Vietnam Tour Package will transfer you to Hoi An and check into your hotel.

DAY 5

Hoi An City Tour

After a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your city tour of Hoi An. You will stroll past the Japanese Bridge with a tiled roof, admire the architecture and beauty of the ancient houses, visit Chinese Assembly Halls and hum to central Vietnam’s folk music played at old clubhouses. Later, you stroll into marketplaces which are dotted along the banks of the Thu Bon River and the many shrines. Hoi An is a great place to shop for raw silk, soft silk, lanterns, and even tailoring is top-notch here.

After you complete the city tour, the remainder of the day is free to explore on your own. You can head to Cua Dai Beach or cycle through along Thu Bon or shop your heart out at the many markets, the choice is yours this day of the Vietnam Tour Package!

DAY 6

Hoi An to Da Nang for Departure

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and transfer to the airport for your flight to your onward destination.

WHEN TO GO
