ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival in Zurich and Transfer to Interlaken (Approx. 2 hours)

Upon arrival at the Zurich Airport, you board the Euro rail to Interlaken. Later, you head to Brünig pass in to the resort town of Interlaken, which lies in the Bernese Oberland and check into the chalet. The Swiss chalet is cozily nestled between two lakes, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. It is also in the heart of the famous Mount Jungfrau and offers great views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau summits. You have the day free at leisure and you can plan your own itinerary.

DAY 2

Excursion to Jungfraujoch

Get set for an excursion to the Jungfraujoch, which is the highest train station in Europe at 3454 m. When you’re here, it feels like you are transported to a whole different world, like a winter wonderland. On one side, you have eye-catching views of the Mittelland, all the way up to the Vosges. On the other side, you have Europe’s largest glacier, the Aletsch glacier, which is surrounded by tall peaks.

DAY 3

Spend the Day Leisurely or Go on a Day Trip to Gstaad

Today you are free to relax and explore or take a day trip to Gstaad. Gstaad is an upscale resort town with soaring mountains which has come to become a holiday destination for celebrities and royalty.

DAY 4

Excursion to Mount Titlis

Get set for an excursion to Mount Titlis, a well-known tourist destination in Switzerland, which stands 3020 m. Mount Titlis is the highest summit and is also one of the largest snowboarding and skiing spots in central Switzerland. It can be accessed via a cableway. It’s absolutely breathtaking and qualifies as a must-see spot while in Switzerland.

DAY 5

Spend the Day Leisurely or Go on a Day Trip to Bad Ragaz

Bad Ragaz lies in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley at the foot of the Pizol and is well known as a health resort destination. Today it is a wellness resort with top-class hotels, thermal baths and golf courses. The warm (37°C) healing waters are derived from the Tamina Gorge in Pfäfers, which is nearby. Tickets for thermal baths can be bought on the spot.

DAY 6

Departure

Travel to Zurich airport and take the flight back to your home country.

WHEN TO GO

April to September is generally the most recommended period to visit Switzerland. Winter has its own allure because of winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating. The universal festivities such as Christmas and New Year are very grandly celebrated here and is a spectacle to see the Swiss streets lit up. However, the best time to plan a Switzerland trip is during summers from April end to September end to enjoy the marvelously scenic mountains that you will be vacationing amidst.
