This 8-day trip sees you landing in Oslo, Norway, and from there on you discover and uncover the mesmerizing beauty of Norway, its many fjords, interesting locales rooted in history and heritage. This package perfected for a couple, takes you through Flåm, a couple of well-known fjords, Bergen, and Tromsø. After this memorable trip, you depart from Tromsø, where you would have finally witnessed the ‘midnight sun’.
You arrive in Oslo. Forests and the beautiful Oslo fjord surround this vibrant city. Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel. You spend the rest of the day in leisure - walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main Karl Johan’s street, that is filled with many shops, bars, and cafés. Overnight in Oslo.
Choose a sightseeing with a local guide, or one of the SIC tours in the city centre. Guided tour of the city includes visiting the Frogner Park, the sculptural Vigeland, and the museum of Viking ships that depicts the three original Viking Age ships, the Royal Palace, City Hall, and the Akershus Fortress. You can also visit the famous Holmenkollen Ski Jump, where you will get a wonderful view of the entire city & the fjord. Your car and guide services end after the sightseeing.

Option: In the afternoon you can enjoy sightseeing of Oslo by boat (approx. 1, 5 hrs).
After breakfast in the hotel, transfer to a train station and begin your Norway in a Nutshell Adventure! Board your train towards Myrdal, final destination for today is Flåm. Take an early departure to Myrdal by train. Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and junction, located about 13 km from the village Flåm. Here you will board the famous Flåmsbana - one of the steepest trainlines in the world. The train journey runs through fantastic nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, through 20 tunnels and offers so many viewpoints that many feel like travelling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord. Arrive in Flåm, where you will have some free time to discover this beautiful village. Rest of the day you spend in leisure.
You have breakfast in the hotel. Departure from Flåm by boat - you will enjoy a cruise on the Aurlandsjord and Nærøyfjord (UNESCO), the arms of the famous Sognefjord, which is also called the King of the Fjords. Some called them the most beautiful fjords of Norway - we will let you to be a judge of that. Arrival to Gudvangen, transfer to Voss by bus, where you will board your train to Bergen. It is a late arrival in Bergen and you transfer to your hotel.
Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture, and exciting urban life all year around.
Meet your local guide at the reception of your hotel and enjoy the 2 hours city sightseeing of Bergen by car. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress, and the famous fish market. Take a ride on the spectacular Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you on the top of the Mountain Fløyen, for overall view of the city.
Option: Take a cruise on the Bergen fjord.
Take an evening transfer to the Bergen airport, for your flight to Tromsø. Private transfer upon arrival - check in.
Activity for today is the Coastal Scenery & History Tour (approx. 5 hours). This trip will bring you out of the city of Tromsø and over to the island of Kvaløya. We will focus on the landscape, nature and the history of over 9000 years of human settlement in the area. Who were they? Why did they come? Where did they live? How did they survive? This all will be explained to you by the professional driver/guide. We will make several stops so you can enjoy the landscape, the nature, and some of the small (fishing) villages.
Activity for today is Fjords, Islands & Midnight Sun (approx. 5 hrs). At 69° N, for more than two whole months the sun never sets below the horizon. Imagine yourself sitting on a beach of coral sand, watching as the midnight sun sets the sky and the landscape ablaze with orange and gold. Listen to the swell of the ocean and the call of the seabirds, while you let the tranquility of the Arctic night fill your body and soul.
An optional sightseeing can be arranged on your own with a local guide. A private transfer to the Tromsø airport for your flight back to your home-country, or a further destination.
