Norway in a Nutshell

You arrive in Oslo. Forests and the beautiful Oslo fjord surround this vibrant city. Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel. You spend the rest of the day in leisure - walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main Karl Johan’s street, that is filled with many shops, bars, and cafés. Overnight in Oslo.

You have breakfast in the hotel. Meet your local guide at the reception of your hotel and depart for a sightseeing tour of this vibrant capital city. Guided tour of the city include the Frogner Park, with the all sculptural Vigeland, the museum of Viking ships, showing three original Viking Age ships, the Royal Palace, City Hall and Akershus Fortress. You can also visit the famous Holmenkollen Ski Jump, where you will get a wonderful view of the entire city & the fjord. Your car and guide services end after the sightseeing. You spend the rest of the day in leisure. Overnight in Oslo.

Option: In the afternoon you can enjoy sightseeing of Oslo by boat (approx. 1.5 hrs).

You have breakfast in the hotel. In the morning transfer to the railway station (on your own) where you will begin your Norway in a Nutshell Adventure! Board your train towards Myrdal, the final destination for today is Flåm. It is an early departure to Myrdal by train. The Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and the junction is located about 13 km from the village of Flåm. Here you will board the famous Flåmsbana - one of the steepest trainlines in the world. The train journey runs through some fantastic natural locales, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, through 20 tunnels and offers so many viewpoints that you will feel like travelling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord.

You arrive in Flåm, where you will have some free time to discover this beautiful village, and buy yourself some Viking souvenirs. You spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Flam.

You have breakfast in the hotel. Departure from Flåm by boat - you will enjoy a cruise on the Aurlandsjord and Nærøyfjord (UNESCO), the arms of the famous Sognefjord, which is also called the King of the Fjords. Some called them the most beautiful fjords of Norway - we will let you to be a judge of that.

You arrive in Gudvangen, transfer to Voss by bus, where you will board your train to Bergen. It is a late arrival in Bergen and you transfer to your hotel on your own. Overnight in Bergen.

You have breakfast in the hotel. Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and the European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture, and exciting urban life all year around.

Meet your local guide at the reception of your hotel and enjoy the 2 hours city sightseeing of Bergen by foot. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress, and the famous fish market. Take a ride on the spectacular Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you on top of the Mountain Fløyen, for an overall view of the city. You spend the rest of the day in leisure. Overnight in Bergen.

Option: Take a cruise on the Bergen fjord (approx. 3 hrs)
