From Amman, explore Madaba and Umm ar-Rasas, known for their mosaics and next to the magnificent Mt. Nebo. Next, relax in Aqaba, before heading to the protected desert reserve of Wadi Rum for a thrilling jeep ride. Rejuvenate yourselves for two days at Dead Sea before preparing to leave to your home country.

Today, you will make your way to Madaba. Madaba, also known as the ‘city of mosaics’, is well-known throughout the world for its renowned Umayyad and Byzantine mosaics. It’s also home to the mosaic map from the 6th century of Jerusalem and the Holy Land which covers the entire floor of the St. George, a Greek Orthodox church.
From here, you will proceed to Mt. Nebo, a site where, according to the Bible, Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land. From the summit which is at a height of 700+ meters, you can view panoramic views of the Holy Land and on the other side is a view of River Jordan.
Later, you will head down south to Umm ar-Rasas which is a town that has ruins from early Muslim, Byzantine and Roman periods. Here you will find well-preserved mosaic floor notably the floor in Church of Saint Stephen, 16 churches and a fortified Roman military camp.
You will stay overnight in Petra.
After breakfast, you will head out and start your tour of Petra.
A very famous archaeological site, Petra is also a World Heritage Site. It’s a city that is carved out of rocks and half-built and encircled in by mountains which consist of several gorges and passages. Due to the colour of the rocks which it’s carved from, it’s also called as the ‘Rose City’. During your walk, you will come across a treasury, numerous elaborately rock-cut tombs, Roman-style theatres, colonnaded streets, sacrificial altars and temples.

After breakfast, transfer to Aqaba and spend the day leisurely at your own pace.
Aqaba is a port city which lies along the Red Sea. It has excellent beaches and its beaches and coral reefs are some of the most pristine you will find in the Red Sea. The beach resorts here are popular for water sports like windsurfing, scuba diving, etc.

Today, you will proceed from Aqaba to Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum is a protected desert reserve and it’s known for its prehistoric rock engraving, stunning natural arches and mountains and red-pink sands. You will explore this reserve on a 4x4 jeep ride. Once you finish here, you will go to the Dead Sea. Due to the high levels of salt, you will be able to float anywhere in the Dead Sea, without drowning. Plus, the black mud of the Dead Sea is known to have detoxifying and therapeutic effects.
