Arrive in Rome and after a city tour and exploring the Vatican, you move to your next destination, which is charming Florence, where you get a taste of the Tuscan countryside. From here, you proceed to your last destination, Venice, and you go on a romantic gondola ride and Murano, Burano and Torcello island hopping.

  • On Day 1, you arrive in Rome, “The Eternal City”. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your own leisure.
  • On Day 2, check out the many monuments, landmarks, churches and museums on a hop on and hop off bus tour.
  • On Day 3, you will visit Vatican City, The Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museum.
  • On Day 4, you will travel to Florence.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrive in Rome

Welcome to the glorious city of Rome. You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day as you please, strolling through the streets and taking in the sights.

DAY 2

Rome: Hop-on Hop-off City Tour

Breakfast will be served at the hotel after which you can step out and discover the spectacular city of Rome. This heritage city is renowned for its plethora of historical sites, priceless and valuable pieces of art, interesting museums, ancient piazzas, basilicas, churches and so much more! On this hop on and hop off bus tour, you can explore the city at your own pace and visit famous sites like the Colosseum, Santa Maria Maggiore, Piazza Venezia, Circo Massimo, Vatican City, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Trevi Fountain.

DAY 3

Rome: Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, and Vatican Museum tickets (no transfers included)

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, The Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums. The Vatican is an ancient city and is captivating in its entirety because of landmarks, monuments and buildings still surviving from a different era. You will also get an opportunity to visit the Geographical Maps and the Gallery of Tapestries.

DAY 4

Rome to Florence

After a lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel, you will check out from your hotel and travel via the Eurail to Florence (1hr 30mins Approx). On arriving in Florence, you will check in to your hotel and are free to spend the day exploring this beautiful city at your own leisure.

DAY 5

Florence to Tuscany; Day trip to San Gimignano, Pisa and Chianti with a Winery

Breakfast will be served at the hotel after which you will go on an incredibly scenic drive through the countryside of Tuscany. Your first stop will be Gothic Siena, known famously for its old-fashioned streets. Here you may either go on a guided tour of the city which includes a free entry into the Cathedral or marvel at the many sights in Siena as you please, meeting and talking with the locals and enjoying a drink in a café out in the open.

Stroll through the vineyards, wine cellars and olive groves of Chianti after which you can indulge in a traditional lunch between the stunning Sienese Hills. During lunch, a wine tasting class will be held where you can sample different kinds of wine and olive oil and even purchase them. After lunch, you will visit San Gimignano. Here you can stroll through the maze-like cobbled streets and squares, walking between the famous 14 towers, gorging on gelato.

Your final stop will be Pisa where you can see up close and personal with the Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Cathedral, The Baptistry and The Monumental Cemetery. Your full day tour ends here, and you will head back to Florence.

DAY 6

Florence to Venice, Venice: Gondola Ride in the Venice Waterways

After a wonderful breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and board the Eurail to travel to Venice which will take approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes. Once you arrive in Venice, you will check in to your hotel.

In Venice, your dreams can finally come true with a gondola ride on the waterways of Venice just like how you saw in movies. The gentle rhythm of the Gondola truly does add a special effect to this boat ride. On this relaxing ride, you will pass through Rialto Bridge and many other famous monuments which help you gain a deeper understanding of the charm and culture of Venice.

DAY 7

Venice: Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Island Hopping Tour

Today you will explore the 3 most remarkable and notable islands in the Venetian lagoon. The first will be Murano, which is renowned worldwide for its glass making. The glass wares are made with superior artistry and watching these masterpieces being made is a delightful experience. The second island you will visit is Burano, which is known for its colourful and beautiful homes of the fishermen lined up against the canal. Lastly, you will visit Torcello Island which will impress you with its landscape and views. You can also visit the Byzantine Church while here.

DAY 8

Departure from Venice

Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel and leave for the Venice Airport to catch your flight back home.
