ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival in Nice

The first day of your French Fascination tour begins in Nice. After you arrive, you will head to the hotel to check in. You will have the rest of the day at your leisure to explore Nice.

Nice is the capital of the French Rivera and is a city that is a wonderful combination of an idealistic location, with an old world charm and the character and grit of a hard-working city.

DAY 2

Nice: City Tour

On your second day in Nice, you will head for a city four after breakfast. On the Nice City Tour, you will make your first stop at Castle Hill, which was the first place where the Greeks arrived. This location also offers a beautiful view of the old town and the Nice port. Next up is Cimiez, where you will have the option of visiting the Matisse Museum or the Chagall Museum. Then, you will visit the Franciscan Monastery, the beautiful Roman ruins and Queen Victoria’s winter palace. You are in for a delightful surprise at your next stop, the Russian Church, which was the biggest Russian Church built outside of Russia. The last site on your tour will be La Promenade des Anglais, after which your tour will end in the old city. You can explore the famous flower market, and the quaint cafes and restaurants here.

DAY 3

Nice: Half-day Tour to Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will leave to Eze, an old medieval village. Eze is located on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit a traditional perfume making factory and then have the chance to explore the village on your own with its beautiful history. After a marvellous time here, you will head to Monaco, where you will visit the beautiful palace, the Cathedral where Princess Grace was buried and then drive along the famous Formula One Race Circuit. And you will end this your with a visit to the famous Monte Carlo, and explore the casino, beautiful gardens and the fabulous hotels.

DAY 4

Nice to Cannes

An exciting journey awaits you today as you leave for Cannes after breakfast at your hotel in Nice.

Cannes is a very famous city on the French Riviera, known throughout the world for the swanky hotels and for hosting the Cannes Film Festival.

Explore the city on your own and enjoy the sights and sounds of Cannes.

DAY 5

Cannes: Full-day Trip to Countryside and Wine Tasting

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for a full day trip of the countryside along with wine tasting. First stop on today’s tour is Grasse, known as the world capital of perfume. Enjoy an exclusive, guided tour of the famous Fragonard factory. You will then head to a beautiful medieval village called Valbonne. Stroll along the over roads and shop for local handicrafts or enjoy some snacks at the roadside cafes. You will be driven along the Loup River and head to Gourdon, the exciting location offering a view of the entire French Riviera. On your way back from the countryside, you will stop at Chateau de Crema for wine tasting.

DAY 6

Cannes to Paris

Today, you depart for the capital of France, Paris, the city of love, after your last breakfast in Cannes. Upon arrival, you will have time to explore the city on your own.

DAY 7

Paris: City Tour, Seine River Cruise and Eiffel Tower

An exciting day in person will begin right after breakfast. You will head to the city centre for your guided tour of the city. The first stop is the Palace of Versailles, and then, the famous Arc de Triomphe. Next on your tour is the famous Notre Dame Cathedral, followed by the Concorde Square and Opera Garnier. End the tour with a visit to the second level of the iconic and legendary Eiffel Tower. You will get a beautiful glimpse of the city. In the evening, you will head for a cruise on the Seine River. Watch the sun setting over the city’s skyline and enjoy the sparkling night lights.

DAY 8

Paris: Day at Leisure

This is your last day in Paris, so make the most of it. After breakfast, you can opt for either a tour of Disneyland or the Louvre Museum. If you want to explore the city on your own, this is your chance to tick some items off your bucket list. Stroll around the city, try some famous French pastries and soak in this exquisite city on your own.

Departure from Paris

Enjoy your last French breakfast in Paris. You have time until your pick up for your flight back home, so make sure to do some last minute shopping or sightseeing.

WHEN TO GO

The best time to visit France is between April and June. If you want to visit when there is less of a crowd, you can plan your trip between October and November, although it tends to get a little chilly.
