Marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, explore the Sphinx and mesmerizing temples on this Egypt holiday. In addition, the Nile Cruise allows you to explore the cities of Luxor and Aswan, two cities of ancient wonders.
Welcome to Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you after which you will transfer to the hotel for check-in. You can spend the remainder of the leisurely, exploring the place on your own.
Optionally, in the evening you can go on a sound and light tour or a dinner cruise.
You will stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go on a tour to visit a few famous sites in Cairo such as the Sphinx, the Giza Pyramids, a Perfume Factory, Papyrus Fair and a cotton shop. Later, you will go to the Egyptian Museum which houses more than 1, 65,000 artefacts from Egypt, Tutankhamen’s gold coffin and the death mask. At the museum, you will first get an introduction by the guide about important pieces and later, you will be allowed to explore the place on your own. After the museum, you will visit Khan el-Khalili Bazar, a major souk and a top tourist attraction.
You will stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will head out to Alexandria, the ‘old town’ of Egypt. The journey is 225 kms long and takes nearly 3 hours.
At Alexandria, you will go on a full day city tour. This city tour includes places such as Pompey's Pillar, Catacomb, Montzah Garden and view the Citadel of Qait from the outside. Once you complete the city tour, you will head back to Alexandria.
You will stay overnight in Alexandria.
After breakfast, you can spend the morning leisurely. In the afternoon you will travel to Cairo, and take an overnight train from there to Aswan.
You will stay overnight on the train.
You will be met by our representative at Aswan Station. From there you will go on to visit Isis Temple and High Dam. Later, check into a cruise and have lunch and dinner onboard.
You will stay overnight on the cruise.
You will be onboard the cruise and you will sail to Kom Ombo. Here you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. You will eat a scrumptious lunch on the cruise and then sail to Edfu. Dinner will be served on the cruise.
You will stay overnight on the cruise.
You will have an appetizing breakfast on the cruise and sail to Luxor Via Esna Lock. The next two meals will be on the cruise as well.
You will stay overnight on the cruise.
After breakfast on the cruise, you will check out and go on a tour. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of the Memnon, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak and Luxor Temple.
After the mind-blowing tour, you will head to Luxor Airport, take a flight to Cairo and from there fly to your home destination.
