While on an easy going romantic holiday in the Pearl of the Adriatic, Croatia, your 8-day trip starts at the ancient Dubrovnik old town, which is perfect for couples to unwind. You spend 4 nights here on a walking tour and visiting nearby spots such as Korcula Island. Later, you move to the next destination Budva in Montenegro and finally, you leave for home from Dubrovnik.
On Day 1 you arrive in Dubrovnik and you check and relax for the rest of the day.
On Day 2, you go on a walking tour around Dubrovnik, exploring the place on foot and enjoying each other’s company on your Croatia holidays.
On Day 3, you go on an excursion to the nearby Korcula Island along with a guide and the trip adds to the romantic flavor of the day. Here again, you explore the island on foot and visit the many monuments and landmarks around here.
From Day 4 to Day 6, now move to your next eye-catching destination, Budva. Here, you go on a day’s trip to heritage places like the Kotor Bay and Perast. The next day, you get to spend in leisure and there are a couple options you can choose to engage in and places to visit too.
On Day 7, you return back to the last stop before your trip comes to a close, the beautiful Dubrovnik. Among the top things to do in Dubrovnik, go on a kayaking and snorkeling tour to a nearby island and make your day a memorable one.
On Day 8, your beautiful, memorable, romantic trip comes to a close and you are homeward bound from Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Day 1 – Arrival in Dubrovnik You arrive in the Cilipi Airport. Transfer from the Dubrovnik airport to the hotel. You stay overnight in the hotel in Dubrovnik.
Day 2 – Dubrovnik sightseeing tour with local guide In the afternoon you go on a Dubrovnik guided walking tour (duration approx. 2 hrs). Dubrovnik is a medieval town that is encircled by lines of stone walls which adds to the city’s aura. The walking tour includes visits to the Dominican Monastery that features a nice collection of medieval paintings. The guide will take you through the narrow streets in the Old Town area and share insights about the history and culture of this glorious city.
Day 3 – Excursion to the island of Korcula with a local guide After breakfast in the hotel, you will be visiting Korcula town is believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. This beautiful medieval era town is filled with churches, museums, and picturesque narrow streets, and one of the best medieval towns in this part of the Mediterranean. The walking tour around the town will take you to some of the finest sites including the St Marc’s Cathedral. After sightseeing – you are on your own and can have lunch and even go swimming if you want to.

Day 4 – Dubrovnik – Budva You have breakfast at the hotel. And then you move to your next destination, Budva (it takes appox. 3 hours to travel) and you check into the hotel in Budva. You stay overnight in a hotel in Budva.
Day 5 – Kotor Bay – full day tour with local guide: Perast, Kotor After breakfast in the hotel, enjoy a drive around the Kotor Bay that is filled with many little settlements. Then, you visit the Island of The Lady of the Rocks, with its beautiful baroque church. You enjoy a walk in Perast, a City that gave many famous captains. Then you move to Kotor, located along one of Montenegro's most beautiful bays, a beautiful city with many a story to tell. The Old City of Kotor was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and it is considered a heritage city. Its medieval styled architecture and many monuments have made Kotor a UNESCO designated “World Natural and Historical Heritage Site". By the end of the tour, you visit Budva, one of the oldest towns by the Adriatic coast in Montenegro. It is also an important tourist place and it has many heritage attractions.

Day 6 – Budva: Day free at Leisure After breakfast in the hotel, you have the day free at leisure. You can opt to do one of many things. You can drive from Budva to Sveti Stefan, for a nice, panoramic photo stop. Or you can visit Virpazar, which is said to be the last home of pelicans and is also said to be the largest bird reservation spot in Europe. Or you can visit Lake Skadar, said to be the largest lake in Southern Europe. It is home to the last sweet water swamps in the Balkan region. The Skadar Lake – in the local Montenegrin language, is referred to as Skadarsko Jezero. The lake is also a designated National Park because you get to see 264 over species of birds, 48 species of fish, and 30 submarine springs known as "oka" (eyes). There are also many little islands and monasteries around here.

Day 7: Budva to Dubrovnik; Kayaking and snorkelling tour at Dubrovnik You have breakfast at the hotel. You transfer from Budva to Dubrovnik (takes about 3 hours travel time). In the afternoon, you meet your guide and make your way to Pile Port where you are given some basic lessons in paddling and sea kayaking. As you paddle or kayak in the Adriatic Sea, you get to see the imposing Lovrjenac Fort and the Dubrovnik city walls and you head to Lokrum Island.
The “Island of Love,” Lokrum is just picture-perfect. With its palm-fringed beaches, holiday villas and hidden bays, it makes for a great holiday spot. It’s considered a rare, hidden treasure in the Adriatic Sea. You can kayak or paddle your way to the Betina beach, which is strategically hidden and you can choose to either swim or snorkel around here. After this, you relax with some drinks and snacks on the beach before you return kayaking or paddling. Your adventure comes to a close when you return back to Pile Bay.

Day 8: Dubrovnik Departure After breakfast you will be transferred from your Dubrovnik hotel to the Dubrovnik airport (the journey time is approximately 30 minutes) on a private basis for you to take your flight back home.

When to Go
