Learn about the eventful history of these magnificent capitals and still have time to discover the hidden treasures.

  • On Day 1, arrive in Budapest, Hungary. You can spend the day exploring the attractions of the city.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival in Budapest

Arrive in Budapest. Budapest has something for everyone - from rich history to magnificent architecture to healing thermal waters and nightlife that is unrivalled.

After arrival at Ferenc Liszt International Airport, you will meet our local representative who will transfer you to the hotel for check-in. You will have the rest of the day to explore this extravagant city on your own.

You will stay overnight in Budapest.

DAY 2

City Tour of Budapest

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and head for the Budapest City Tour. Prepare to be awed by the sights and sounds of this city. On the tour, you will see famous spots like the Parliament Building, the Margaret Bridge that goes over the Danube and the the Royal Castle. You will also have some free time to explore Fisherman´s Bastion, which offers a stunning view of Budapest and the Mathias Church. Later, you will go on to see Gellert Hill and Elisabeth Bridge and from here, you will drive toward the Heroes Square. On the way you will pass by St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Opera House.

During the evening, you can walk around on your own to explore the city.

DAY 3

Budapest to Vienna by Train

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the train station on your own to board your train to Vienna.

Vienna is a city with ample history and is known for its imperial sites, cultural events, cosy wine taverns, coffee houses and the special Viennese charm.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own for check-in. After check-in, you will have enough free time to relax and explore your surroundings.

You will stay overnight in Vienna.

DAY 4

City Tour of Vienna with Schönbrunn Palace

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in your hotel and then head out for a city tour of Vienna. On this city tour, you will visit historic landmarks and lively city squares. As you drive past the main boulevard of Vienna, 'Ringstrasse', you will pass by attractions such as the Museum of Fine Arts and Natural History, the State Opera House, the National Theatre, the Parliament Building, City Hall, etc.

The highlight is the Schönbrunn Palace. It’s one of the most renowned baroque complexes in the country. Visitors can visit the numerous statues, fountains, trees and flowers, monuments and the magnificent Gloriette. Rest of your day will be free for leisure activities.

DAY 5

Day Trip to Bratislava

After breakfast, you will make your way to the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava by bus. Once you arrive at your destination, the guide for your city walk will be waiting for you. From here you will go to the picturesque old town. You will return by an air-conditioned speedboat. You will then go on to visit Danube River wetlands and National Park Donauauen before reaching your terminus, Schwedenplatz at night.

You will stay overnight in Vienna.

DAY 6

Vienna to Prague by Train

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the train station on your own to board your train to Prague.

Prague is a magical city full of opulent cathedrals, antique bridges, gold-tipped towers and vast church domes. Many even consider it as one of the beautiful, charming and colourful cities of Europe. It’s slowly sneaked its way into traveller’s bucket list.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own for check-in. After check-in, you will have enough free time to relax and explore your surroundings.

DAY 7

City Tour of Prague with Prague Castle and Boat Cruise

After breakfast, get ready for Prague city tour and enjoy a visit to the Prague Castle and go on a boat cruise. All through the tour, the guide will explain the history of Prague and it’s various neighbourhoods. You will also visit the largest castle in the world - Prague Castle, which houses the St. Vitus Cathedral in its complex.

From the banks of the Vltava River, you will hop onboard the boat cruise, from where you will enjoy the sights and sounds of Prague. From the boat, you will see the famous Charles Bridge apart from other well-known bridges. Once you hop off the boat, you will stroll through the Jewish town to the Old Town Square and end the tour. The afternoon is free for you to explore on your own.

DAY 8

Prague - Day at Leisure

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you have the day free to explore the city on your own. A recommendation is to take the optional day trip to Cesky Krumlov and Ceske Budejovice, the city of Budweiser beer.

DAY 9

Departure from Prague

Post breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

If you’re looking to narrow down the timeline, the best time to visit Budapest, Vienna, and Prague is the months of spring and fall. During this time the weather is pleasant and the crowds are fewer. As the countries generally have a chilly climate in winter, during the summer months these places can see a large influx of tourists.
