Our Exotic South India 9 nights and 10 days tour starts at Kozhikode exploring Banasura Sagar Dam and moves to the mountains of the Western Ghats at Wayanad. Then, enjoy the beautiful hill stations of Ooty and Munnar, the wildlife at Thekkady and the glistening backwaters of Alleppey.
Arrive in Calicut (Kozhikode) and proceed to your hotel for check in. Later, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Calicut, including Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, with a large number of birds and animal species and Tali Temple, one of the oldest temples in Kozhikode dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed towards Wayanad, known for its plantations and wildlife. Enroute visit Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia, where you can go boating or trekking up to Banasura Peak. Later, visit Wayanad Adventure Camp and enjoy various adventure activities such as ziplining.
Drive to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed on a full day sightseeing tour of Wayanad, including the pre-historic Edakkal Caves famous for their cave paintings, Chembra Peak (2100 m), Pookot Lake, Kuruva Island and Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to elephants, bisons, tigers, bears, etc.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Ooty enjoying the scenic route. Enroute, visit Black Thunder Water Theme Park at Mettupalayam for a fun-filled day on long slides and playful rides.

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Ooty covering Ooty Botanical Garden, Doddabetta Peak (2623 m), Sim’s Park and Ooty Lake. In the afternoon, experience the picturesque journey in the famous toy train, Nilgiri Mountain Railway Line (tickets not included) from the town of Mettupalayam to the hill station of Ooty and later, drive to explore the local market of Ooty.

After breakfast in the hotel, check out and proceed to the hill station of Munnar, former resort for the British Raj elite. On arrival, check in to the hotel and spend rest of the day enjoying the serene atmosphere of the town surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations.

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Munnar with Eravikulam National Park located around the Western Ghats, which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar-Goat. Next, visit Mattupetty Dam, built in the hills of Kerala. Later, proceed to Anamudi (2695 m), the highest peak in Kerala and South India, giving you a stunning view of the hills. Pothamedu viewpoint, famous for sunset views, gives a panoramic view of the valley. Also, visit the one of a kind Tea Museum and Rose garden, with its multiple variety of flowers.

After breakfast, depart for Thekkady. The journey will take you through spice plantations like those of black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, etc. At the Periyar National Park, enjoy an elephant safari or boating in Periyar Lake. In the evening, watch an engaging kathakali dance performance.
