If you want to go on a multi country trip around Europe with your family, then this 11-day Three Countries Tour is perfect. The tour takes you to Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic. In Austria, you visit Vienna and Linz. From here, you move to the heritage city, Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. You then come to Prague and go on an interesting castles tour. From here, you move to Munich, the last destination and you go sightseeing, and on a Bavarian castles tour, before returning home.

  • On Day 1 of your Three Countries Tour, you arrive in Vienna airport and after you check into the hotel, you have the rest of the day to spend on your own.
  • On Day 2, you now head out to discover the beautiful city of Vienna. You go on a city tour during the day and visit the famed Schönbrunn Palace. The afternoon you get to spend on your own and if you feel like, you can visit any concerts in the vicinity.
  • On Day 3 and Day 4, you now leave to Linz and you get the next two days to go around exploring this beautiful city.
  • On Day 5, you now head to Cesky Krumlov from Linz. Here, you get to explore this heritage city on your own and have a great time.
  • On Day 6 and Day 7, you now depart from Cesky Krumlov to Prague, Czech Republic where you go on an interesting Prague castles tour and also visit other well-known landmarks around here. A not to miss is a visit to Karlovy Vary, an ancient Spa town of Europe which you can do on your own.
  • On Day 8, you now head to the Bavarian capital city, Munich in Germany and after checking in you can spend time on your own.
  • On Day 9 and Day 10, you go on a hop on hop off tour in Munich and check out the different sights and places of interest. You will also get to go on a Bavaria castles tour.
  • On Day 11, your memorable trip comes to a close and you head to the Munich airport for your journey back home.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Vienna

Arrival in Vienna and you transfer to your hotel and check and settle down there.

DAY 2

Vienna

Enjoy a morning tour of the city that will show you all of the major sights. The highlight of the tour is a guided tour through the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace. The afternoon and evening are free to be spent in leisure – and if you want to visit any of the popular concerts, you may do so.

DAY 3

Vienna – Linz

Take the train from Vienna to Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. Once renowned for its industries, the city residing on the banks of the River Danube is now a bright and lively metropolis with large areas of green everywhere.

DAY 4

Linz

This morning, you enjoy a ride on the City Express through the heart of the historical section of Linz. Afterwards, you can visit the acclaimed Ars Electronica, the Lentos Art Museum or take a trip up the Pöstlingberg to capture a splendid view of the city.

DAY 5

Linz – Cesky Krumlov

Take the train across the Austro-Czech border to the picturesque town of Cesky Krumlov, an outstanding UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site by the meandering valleys of the River Vltava. You have the day free to explore the city on your own.

DAY 6

Cesky Krumlov – Prague

You travel to Prague today from Cesky Krumlov. You arrive in Prague, and you embark on a city tour in the afternoon. You will visit Prague´s extensive castle district (by foot and by coach) and this includes the St Vitus Cathedral, Hradcany (Prague Castle) and the famous Golden Lane with its tiny picturesque houses.

DAY 7

Day free at leisure or a Day trip to Karlovy Vary

Today, the day is free at leisure for you to explore the town of Prague on your own. Alternatively, you can take a day trip to Karlovy Vary, the famous spa town.

The Spa Town in Karlovy Vary is a much visited spot in Czech Republic. From times immemorial, this place served as a renowned Spa town in Europe. The elegant buildings, the art and architecture and not to miss, the services make for an inviting, relaxing and leisurely visit here.

DAY 8

Prague – Munich

You continue your journey across the borders to Germany, where you will arrive in Munich, the splendid capital city of Bavaria. Check in to your hotel and receive your first impressions of the city.

DAY 9

Munich – Hop on Hop off tour

Today, make the most of your 24-hour Hop On Hop Off ticket, which will give you plenty of opportunity to discover all of the major sights. An absolute must-visit is the impressive Nymphenburg Palace. And then continue exploring the city at leisure. Stroll through the famous Viktualienmarkt, visit the fascinating BMW World (on your own) or enjoy a glass of excellent German beer in the world-famous Hofbräuhaus.

DAY 10

Munich – Bavaria Castles Tour

After a day full of city experiences, today, you will get to see a different side of Bavaria. King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles, the Neuschwanstein and Linderhof and you will get to explore one these castles and the beautiful Bavarian mountain scenery.

DAY 11

Departure

Your enthralling Three Countries Tour comes to an end and on this day, you transfer to Munich Airport to take your flight back home.
