1. Spend a day at the Zoo

A day at the zoo is a good way of being together and it engages kids as it feeds their curiosity and keeps them on their toes. The Singapore Zoo is spread across 28 hectares and it houses over 3000 animals. Some rare animals you can find here include the sun bears, the Hamadryas baboons, the orangutan, and the Malayan tigers.

The specialty of the Singapore zoo is that they follow an ‘open zoo’ policy. Wherein, the animals are not held within cages. The bigger land animals are kept in absolute natural settings and there are deep moats to prevent them from moving around. While here, kids get to spend some nice time feeding animals and also enjoying the animal shows that happen regularly.
