An Itinerary For Mauritius – Breakdown day by day

Here’s the breakdown of the above-mentioned activities.

Day 1 – Arrival and transfer to hotel

After your arrival at Mahebourg (Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport), you will meet a representative from our team who will assist you and ensure a smooth transfer to the hotel. On reaching the hotel, you can unwind, relax, savor the dinner, rest up and save energy for the upcoming days that are going to be filled with activities that define what to do in Mauritius.

Day 2 – North Island tour

The next morning, after eating a wholesome breakfast, you will get to tour the entire north of the island. Few well-known attractions that you will cover include the Caudan Waterfront – a place to shop, enjoy bargains, good food and the amazing view from the pier, Mall of Mauritius and a city tour.

Day 3 – Tour of the Ile Aux Cerfs

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will jet-set off to Ile Aux Cerfs, an island just off the east coast that is easily accessible by boat. This island is famed for its beautiful silvery beaches, blue lagoons and umpteen water activities. You can spend an entire day of your Mauritius trip here-sunbathing, partaking in the numerous activities, indulging in some mouth-watering food or splurging in the small flea market with local handicrafts.

Tip: Don’t miss the animated marine life and the beautiful coral reefs that make this an ideal spot to snorkel. 

Alas! The day does need to end. Conclude the day by jet-setting off and bidding adieu to the crimson tones of the sunset over the horizon.

Return to the hotel to enjoy your dinner and have a peaceful night of sleep.

Day 4 – South Island tour

The next day, after your morning meal you set off on the South Island tour. The south of the island has some spectacular attractions that are not worth missing out on. Few highlights of this Mauritius trip are the Mangal Mahadev- Shiva Statue, La Vallée des Couleurs Nature Park famous for the 23 coloured earth and the numerous cascading waterfalls, etc. After a day of fun, frolic and exploring you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 – Explore the city on your own

After your breakfast, the day is yours! You can choose what you want to do – whether it’s sunbathing on the beach, indulge in good food, shop, enjoy water sports, etc. Make good use of the time!

Day 6 - Explore the city on your own

After your breakfast, again, the day is yours. Complete what you couldn’t finish the previous day or plan an entirely new day and make it a memorable day of your Mauritius holiday packages. It’s up to you.

Day 7 – Departure

After breakfast, pack your bags as it’s time to bid adieu to your Mauritius trip. No one likes it when it’s time to leave but the time has come to head home. At the appropriate time, a transfer will be organized to the airport where you will take off to your destination.
