VIETNAM

Our Vietnam travel guide lets you continue down South where you come across more beautiful locations- Nha Trang and the historically and politically well-known city- Ho Chi Minh City also know as Saigon. And we let you explore the place and the things you can do here.

Nha Trang

Nha Trang is a well-known beach destination of Vietnam. So if you really want to enjoy the sun, the sands and water and want to go beach-hopping then a visit to Nha Trang is in order.

And while in the beach area, you can go snorkeling, scuba diving, engage in water sports or soak up some sun and have a great time in the company of your girlie gang.

And the other things that you could do when you visit Vietnam include:

Relax in the famed Nha Trang Beach

The blue waters are very calming to your ever sense, and coupled with its beauty and surroundings, this 6km long beach is just perfect for anyone who is holidaying. While here, there are a host of activities to indulge in and check out the mouth-watering seafood and also get some good party time in the night.

Visit the Buddha Statue

Just visit the Buddha statue sitting in a meditative pose on a lotus blossom. This is about 45.9 feet in height and can be spotted just about from anywhere in and around the city.

Po Nagar Cham Towers

This was a temple built way back, somewhere between the 7th and 12th centuries. As per recorded history, it is that old and even today it is active and many locals visit here. It is said that earlier, there were about 7-8 towers, but now only 4 towers remain.

Vietnam travel Guide- Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon

Ho Chi Minh City also goes by its old name, Saigon. It is actually the commercial hub of Vietnam. The city is buzzing with activities and people. And everywhere you go, you just see bustling life and vehicles.

And one of the biggest mentions of this Vietnam travel guide is that, if you love shopping, then this is the best shopping place in the country. And this by itself is delightful news, and you can plan accordingly.

Here are a couple of Vietnam holiday tips while you're here:

Dong Khoi is in the heart of the city central district. Here is where you will find many places to visit and see, like the HCMC Museum that showcases age-old artifacts, the Notre Dame Cathedral built in the 19th century- The Gallic architecturally designed Cathedral was built by the French and it is said that all the materials were imported from France.

For some interesting French-style architecture, step into the Da Kao district and check out a couple old, vintage buildings.

And yes not to miss in these roundabouts is the Jade Emperor Pagoda that is symbolic of the Taoist and Buddhist religions.

While in the area, the Vietnam travel guide suggests the History Museum for you to learn a little about Vietnam’s history.

A couple of other must-visits include:

Cu Chi Tunnels

A visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels is just something else. It is an underground city by itself. And it was from these tunnels that the soldiers planned and strategized their every move. And it was here where they resided during wartime too. And as a visitor, you get to go through these narrow tunnels and see the world below that is definitely a marvel by itself.

Best part of Vietnam to visit - Saigon Central Post Office

Every single Vietnam travel guide will prod you to visit The Saigon Central Post Office. Built in 1891 AD, this French colonial themed architecturally designed building was designed by Gustave Eiffel, the same architect who built the famed Eiffel Tower in Paris. And to date, it has been well-preserved and it still seems to be in a good condition.
