Ranthambhore is home to lakes that offer a pleasurable visual of large population of migratory birds like Bar Headed Geese and Pelicans. The area hosts 300+ species of birds including the Painted Sand Grouse. The place surrounding the lake offers the best bird watching experience ever. A morning stroll around the lake is a mesmerizing experience irrespective of the seasons. It is about 12kms from the Sawai Madhopur Railway Station and 180kms from Jaipur.

The area has a good, healthy population of tigers, giving you a high probability of sighting one.
