OVERVIEW

Our Kenyan Adventure holiday takes you through Amboseli National Park, famous for its breath-taking views of Kilimanjaro and then to Lake Naivasha, part of the Great Rift Valley. End your trip at Maasai Mara to watch the magnificent wildlife.

  • On Day 1, you will arrive in Nairobi. Later, drive to Amboseli National Park, with over 420 different species of birds. Spend the afternoon at your own leisure.
  • On Day 2, you will spend the whole day on a game viewing drive along with a picnic lunch.
  • On Day 3, travel to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake part of the Great Rift Valley.
  • On Day 4, you will drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve and go on a game viewing drive. Get a chance to spot the Big 5!
  • On Day 5, spend the day driving around Maasai Mara, spotting animals and enjoying a picnic lunch.
  • On Day 6, prepare to depart to your home country.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrive in Nairobi; Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Welcome to JKIA! You will be met at the airport by one of our representatives who will brief you about the safari. You will then travel by road to Amboseli National Park and arrive just in time for a delicious lunch at the lodge.

Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mt. Kilimanjaro from Amboseli Park. The Park shelters over 420 different species of birds. The underground springs at the park are fed from the melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro and this attracts a huge elephant and other big game population.

Spend the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure.

DAY 2

Amboseli National Park

After a scrumptious breakfast, you will spend the whole day on a game viewing drive along with a picnic lunch. During this drive, search for herds of elephants and other animals like impalas, wildebeests, lions and cheetahs.

DAY 3

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

Breakfast will be served at the park after which you will drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrive here in time for a late lunch and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

DAY 4

Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara

After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Check in to the camp and lodge once you arrive and indulge in a delicious lunch. Later, go on an exciting game viewing drive in the afternoon. It will be the highlight of your day if you are able to spot a lion, cheetah or any other splendid predators. In the evening, a divine dinner will be served at the lodge.

DAY 5

Maasai Mara

Breakfast will be served at your lodge/camp after which you will proceed on a game viewing drive to spot the many species that live on this reserve. If luck is in your favour you will be able to witness a kill right in front of your eyes, moment to moment.

After a lip-smacking lunch, you will go on another game drive and hope that you will be able to see any of the Big 5. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge.

DAY 6

Departure

Breakfast will be served at the reserve, after which you will drive back to Nairobi to catch your flight back home from JKIA.

WHEN TO GO

Africa has been blessed with an abundance of wildlife and the best time for animal spotting is from late June to October which is the dry season. The Wildebeest migrates to Maasai Mara in July and remains here till October where it migrates back to the Serengeti in Tanzania which is a spectacle. One can also visit from the month of January to the end of March, as the climate is mild and game spotting is also possible.
