Active Himalayan Holiday

OVERVIEW

Regarded as the ‘Switzerland of India’, the Chopta Valley is famous for lush green meadows set amidst dense forests of pine, deodar and rhododendrons.  The meadows stage breath-taking views of the magnificent Himalayas including the hills of Trishul, Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba.  The rugged landscape of Tunganath offers exciting trekking adventures.

When the clouds have gone into hiding, Auli poses a splendid view. The ride from Joshimath via a cable car will transport you to a heavenly abode complete with a picturesque view of vast mountain ranges.

The drive along the rocky track from Rishikesh to Auli is absolutely thrilling. With the River Ganges gushing on one side and massive mountains on the other, the drive is just a splendid adventure.

Pitched up by the tributary Alaknanda, Jayalgarh is hailed as a popular destination for Grade l and Grade ll rapids of rafting.
