WHEN TO GO

Since Ladakh is a cold region and is pretty much a desert, the best time to visit would be between mid-may to mid-October. This is also the time when the weather is relatively pleasant and bearable, and the many mountain passes are open and accessible. Also camping is allowed around the Pangong Lake during this time.
