OVERVIEW

Enchanting and spiritual temples include Shaktipeetha Temples i.e. Chintpurni, Jwalamukhi, Naina Devi, Vrajeshwari, and Vaishnodevi.

Deity in the Jwalamukhi temple represents eternal flame.

Naina Devi Temple is seated on a hilltop accessible by a cable car.

Vaishno Devi Temple is nestled in a cave, accessible via a 13km walk.  (optional helicopter ride)

WHEN TO GO

Temples are open all year round, And if you want to visit temples in Jammu, it can be done during the winter, spring season which is October-March. But, the Vaishno Devi temple should be visited only during the summer months, March-June and during autumn months, October-November. The temples in Himachal Pradesh are best visited during March to October.
