FRH is a haven for bird watchers. We sighted 6 varieties of Woodpeckers inside the resort- this one is a Black Rumped Flameback.

Boat Safari

In the evening we undertook a boat safari where we sighted many Kingfishers and even, Crocodiles. This one is a Black Capped Kingfisher.

Early Morning

Foggy-Mornings-on-a-Boat-ride
Next day morning we started on a foggy morning boat safari.

We still saw the prized bird of the area, Brown Winged Kingfisher.

We also did some walking in Mangrove Forests and photographed some Mud-skippers and Red crabs.

There is also a museum inside FRH that we visited.

Departure

Countryside-Enroute Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary
Departure was again via a boat ride. The drive back to Bhubaneshwar we passed some superb countryside areas.
