Bali channels every personality effortlessly. In saying that, we mean that Bali has something for everyone- be it a crazy family of 24 on an annual holiday, to some young hipsters looking for travel exposure, honeymooners heading off for some very meticulously crafted privacy (yes, we've seen the movies and followed the honeymoon trends!) and the young and old who come to Bali to travel, learn and experience rich culture, intermingled with traditions from across the world. Because, that's what Bali does, makes time, space, and place for everyone and everything! What's more? Spend some time on one of the many beautiful beaches in Bali and have the world come to you with massages, drinks, amazing food, and hospitality. With Bali, it's always all-in-one.
Things to Do
Uluwatu Temple near Bali
Located on a steep cliff that's approximately 250 feet above the sea below, Uluwatu Temple is not just a place of worship, but a place where couples go for some soul searching (honestly, for the sunset, but travel literature will have you believe otherwise!). UluwatuTemple has the power to instill marvel in the most pessimistic person. (How can it not? People climbed 250 feet above sea level to build this one!). While it is a must-see, the difficulty of accessing the place makes it slightly exclusive to an age class of travelers.
Seminyak near Bali
Want to see some of the most romantic people in Bali? Seminyak is where you need to head to. Couples flock to Seminyak for its romance-friendly atmosphere that offers couples exotic spa treatments, fine dining, a vibrant nightlife, and couple activities. Please feel free to go if you're single too (sorry!). Also, the beaches out here are more exquisite and less crowded compared to its neighboring beaches.
Kintamani Volcano in Bali
You can go over and see the most active Volcano in Indonesia and come back or else go over and experience it. You get the difference? With Kintamani, it's not just about the Volcano, but about the million dollar journey that gives you a chance at the most perfect pictures (landscape is very beautiful!). The whole journey is lined with flowers and fruits. Don't believe us? Head over and see for yourself!
Bali Safari and Marine Park
Traveling with children? Get them to behave by bribing them with a trip to the Bali Safari and Marine Park. The park has free range animals showing up to say hi, every now and then. What's more? You get to cuddle with baby Orangutans! If you're done petting animals, make your way to the water themed park that shares space with the zoo for a fun time on world ranked water slides and rides.
Tanah Lot Temple
If you know Indonesia's history with violent hurricanes, you'd definitely think they need protection from the dangers of the sea. This is where Tanah Lot Temple comes in. It's unusual because the temple is out in the sea and on closer notice it almost looks like the waves are beating patterns around the edges of the temple. Sounds mystical? It looks even more so!
