A 5-day Buzzing Bangkok trip to Thailand is a short family vacation that has a lot on offer. You arrive in Bangkok and after settling in, a Rose Garden Cultural tour is an option you can consider. Later, a day’s trip takes you to the famed Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in the Thai countryside and a visit to the Kwai River bridge is also in the offing. Then, there is a Safari World and Marine Park day trip that will enthrall you and your family. You visit the Coral Island and spend an eventful day there. And yes, last on the list is the Bangkok Temple and City Tour where you visit many places of interest.
On Day 1, you arrive in the capital city, Bangkok. You check into the hotel and as an option you can go on the Rose Garden Cultural tour.
On Day 2, you get to see the Thai countryside. You are taken to see the “Venice of Asia” - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, and there’s also a trip to the famous Kwai River bridge planned. Then you visit a war memorial and museum in Kanchanaburi and your eventful day draws to a close.
On Day 3, a full-day trip to the Safari World and Marine Park is in store for your family, where all of you will have a great time seeing the many animals, shows and attractions while here.
On Day 4, spend the day at Coral Island. A day spent on this beautiful beachside destination is filled with fun, frolic and relaxation.
On Day 5, your short family holiday ends, and from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, you are homeward bound.
Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok You arrive in Bangkok and you are met at the airport by our representative. You are transferred to the hotel and after checking in and settling down, you have the day free to do whatever you want to.
Optional: In the afternoon, you go on a Rose Garden cultural tour. This place wears Thailand at its best. Everything specific and special to Thailand can be found here. You get to see an engaging Thai cultural show, which is a good presentation with a mix of traditional music, folk dances, and martial arts. Alongside, you also get to meet some Rose Garden residents, a couple of majestic elephants who are at their playful best.
Day 2: Kanchanaburi /Damnoensuduak & River Kwai After breakfast, get ready to explore the splendid Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and yes, the very famous Kwai River Bridge too. For this you are driven through the scenic countryside of Thailand. While driving through pastoral settings, you feel like time has literally stopped, while seeing the many local villages, the lush greenery, plantations, farmlands and more. If you want to unwind for a short while, you can do so with some drinks. And after which, you can go to explore the Floating Market. A speedboat takes you to this destination. As you wind through the beautiful canals known locally as klongs, you understand why this place has earned the nickname, "Venice of Asia." You also learn a lot about how the locals live and see how the market selling local produce like fruits and veggies actually functions. Later, you are taken to the town of Kanchanaburi for lunch. You continue on your journey to the historically famous, Kwai River Bridge and your guide will share a lot of stories about the history of the bridge and its place in history. Later, you go shopping around the local markets and shops and you can go looking for some curios, knickknacks and clothes too. Then, your tour takes you to the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery where over 6,000 WWII prisoners are laid to rest. And the last thing in a long day would be a visit to the JEATH War Museum. This museum shares facts about Japanese soldiers and prisoners from England, Australia, USA, and Holland.
Day 3: Safari World and Marine Park After breakfast, get ready to enjoy the thrilling Safari World and Marine Park. You get to see many different animal species both on land and in water. You ride through and see animals in their natural habitat. There are a couple of mesmerizing and enthralling shows in the Marine Park that the marine animals put up for you. Popular shows like the Sea Lion Show, the Ski Show, the Dolphin Show as well as the Elephant, Bird and Orangutan Show are not to be missed. And yes, as your day trip comes to a close, you will definitely go back happy and you return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Coral Island Tour with Lunch After breakfast, you visit Coral Island. The Island is well-known for its white sand beaches and the complementing blue waters. Most tourists love this beach and it is very popular especially amongst Asian tourists. While on the beachside, you can try water sports like jet skiing and riding the banana boat. And yes, you can always go swimming too.
Day 5: City Tour - Departure from Bangkok This morning, after breakfast, you go on a Temple and City Tour of the city. Bangkok has a large number of temples and the city takes great pride in this fact. You marvel at the Buddha sculpture made of Jade in the Temple of Emerald Buddha. Later, you visit the Grand Palace too. Basically, visiting these temples and other local landmarks, in a way gives you great insight into the local heritage and culture.
At the appointed time, an airport transfer is arranged to the Bangkok International Airport for your journey back home.
