You arrive in Zurich, and you immediately leave by train to Lucerne, where you go on a cruise and sightseeing. You then head to the resort town of Interlaken and visit Jungfraujoch – the top of Europe. You then head back to Zurich and visit the largest indoor aquapark in Europe, Alpamare. Finally as the best of Switzerland tour ends; you head back home from Zurich with lifelong memories.

  • On Day 1, you arrive in Zurich airport and then you immediately head to Lucerne by train. After reaching here, experience a Lake Lucerne cruise on your own.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival in Zurich and transfer to Interlaken (Approx. 2 hours)

Upon arrival at the Zurich Airport, you board the Euro rail to Interlaken. Later, you head to Brünig pass into the resort town of Interlaken, which lies in the Bernese Oberland and check into the hotel. The hotel is cosily nestled between two lakes, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. You have the day free at leisure.

DAY 2

Excursion to Jungfraujoch

Get set for an excursion to the Jungfraujoch, which is the highest train station in Europe at 3454 m. When you’re here, it feels like you are transported to a whole different world, like a winter wonderland. On one side, you have eye-catching views of the Mittelland, all the way up to the Vosges. On the other side, you have Europe’s largest glacier, the Aletsch glacier, which is surrounded by tall peaks.

You will stay overnight in Interlaken.

DAY 3

Interlaken to Lucerne

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you hop on a train to Lucerne, a typical postcard town. You are free to explore the city on your own.

DAY 4

Day trip to Mount Titlis

Once you’re done with breakfast at the hotel, you will go on an excursion to Mount Titlis, a well-known tourist destination in Switzerland, which stands 3020 m. Mount Titlis is the highest summit and is also one of the largest snowboarding and skiing spots in central Switzerland. It can be accessed via a cableway. It’s absolutely breathtaking and qualifies as a must-see and must-view spot while in Switzerland.

You will stay overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 5

Lucerne to Zurich

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and board the train to Zurich.

Spend the day leisurely exploring the city of Zurich on your own.

DAY 6

Departure

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel Checkout from hotel and proceed to Airport  to catch your onward flight back to India.

WHEN TO GO

April to September is generally the most recommended period to visit Switzerland. Especially if you are planning a vacation with family and children, but Switzerland happens to have something to offer to everyone irrespective of what season you come to vacation there! Winter has its own allure because of winter sports like skiing, snow - boarding, ice skating. The universal festivities such as Christmas and New Year are something that is very grandly celebrated here and is a spectacle to see the Swiss street lit up.
