OVERVIEW

Our Epic Kenya holiday takes you to Lake Naivasha, part of the Great Rift Valley and then to the world-famous Maasai Mara to watch the magnificent wildlife.

  • On Day 1, travel to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake part of the Great Rift Valley.
  • On Day 2, you will drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve and go on a game viewing drive. Get a chance to spot the Big 5!
  • On Day 3, spend the day driving around Maasai Mara, spotting animals and enjoying a picnic lunch.
  • On Day 4, prepare to depart to your home country.
  • Extend your trip with a stay in Nairobi for 1 Night or in the coastal city of Mombasa for 3 Nights.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Lake Naivasha / Nakuru

You will be picked up by our representative from the hotel / airport and will commence your drive to Lake Naivasha / Nakuru. On arrival, commence game viewing drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park, part of the Great Rift Valley. This park is home to innumerable species of birds, which makes bird watching a truly magnificent experience even for those who are reluctant.

Have lunch at the Camp / Lodge within the Park, post which there will be an afternoon game viewing drive. At around 16:30 hours, return drive to the shores of Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight.

Stay overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 2

Lake Naivasha / Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge located in the heart of Maasai Mara National Reserve, on the Eastern side of the large ecological Mara system.

After lunch, head out for an afternoon game viewing drive in Kenya's most popular Reserve. If luck is in your favour, you will be able to witness a kill right in front of your eyes, moment to moment. The day will culminate at Zebra Plains Mara Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy full day of game viewing with an option of morning and late afternoon game drives with lunch back at the Camp, alternatively full day game drive with picnic boxes.

All meals and overnight stay at the Camp.

DAY 4

Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After breakfast, return drive to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at the respective City Hotel/Airport.

WHEN TO GO

Africa has been blessed with an abundance of wildlife and the best time for animal spotting is from late June to October which is the dry season. The Wildebeest migrates to Maasai Mara in July and remains here till October where it migrates back to the Serengeti in Tanzania which is a spectacle. One can also visit from the month of January to the end of March, as the climate is mild and game spotting is also possible.
