The landscape of Rishikesh makes it one of the best white-water rafting sites in the world. The gushing waters and manageable currents make river rafting a heart-throbbing experience. River rafting goes on for a good 3-4 hours starting at about 15-20kms upstream and converging at Rishikesh. The rapids include short-run, mid-run and long-run rapids of Grade II and Grade III.
