Madhya Pradesh Pilgrimage Tour

OVERVIEW

Omkareshwar is located 77kms from Indore and Ujjain is about 60kms from Indore. Both are famous temple towns that are nestled by the riverside and attract travelers in hordes from across the country to central India to visit the famed Jyotirlinga temple.

Ujjain is home to several temples and has a charming and pious, pilgrim town vibe. One might want to commence the day with the Bhasma Arti in the morning which is popular and visited by devout pilgrims. Offering wine is a very popular practice at the Kal Bhairav Temple is also something that intrigues and attracts and interests a lot of tourist.

You can take a lovely boat ride to the Omkareshwar Island which is also known as Parikrama and is very popular with travellers.

Tourists visiting Omkareshwar and Ujjain usually choose to stay in Indore and use it as a base point to explore other locations.
