OVERVIEW

Kutch is known for its rich craft heritage and handicrafts are the main occupation among 30 villages. Families are devoted and looking to transfer unique and specialized skills from generation to generation. These villagers are willing to give the tourists a demo of their skills, making a visit to the village an unforgettable one and highly experiential one.

Dhordo is a pristine site with endless stretches of white desert sand. Here, you can even enjoy a camel ride or have a thrilling experience of riding a quad bike.

Mandvi beach plays host to the historical Vijay Vilas palace and the 72 Jain temples. Apart from temples, it is ideal for a serene stroll on the beach or a quick dip in the ocean.

Bani grasslands around Nakhatrana (50kms from Bhuj), is the prime destination for sighting rare migratory birds especially during winter.

Ashapura temple or Mata no Madh is a popular pilgrimage site, especially for locals and just a little ahead are Narayan Sarovar, Koteshwar and Lakhpat, sites with high significance when it comes to Hinduism.

Bhuj town serves traditional cuisines that feature the authentic Kathiawari (Saurashtra) cuisine Thali (Set meal). A dining hall called Umiyaji is a must visit for travellers who are seeking something experiential.
