OVERVIEW

The Little Rann of Kutch is a prime wildlife sanctuary spread over an area of 4950 sq. km and home to 200+ varieties of birds. The topography of this area is a mix of soothing desert plains, rocky landscapes, lush grasslands and enchanting lakes. Birds can be spotted around Dasada, Dhrangadhra and Zainabad. Flamingos and other birds can be spotted around Nava Talao and Kharagoda Lake especially during winter.

Sasan Gir is home to the mighty Asiatic Lions who have adapted as they have co-existed with human beings since ever, hence giving tourist the opportunity to observe them from close proximity. Devaliya Park alongwith Sasan Gir Forest is home to lions, leopards and a wide range of wildlife that are kept in comfortable enclosures for tourists to witness. An extensive birdlife exists around Sasan Gir, consisting of migratory birds flocking during winters
