ABOUT US

In 2011, Samidha and Bharat, from Chandigarh and Mumbai respectively, planned their wedding in Delhi - everything from invites to decor and venue finalization. They later realised how it would have been better and less tiring, had someone been there to oversee and assist the planning process.

A few years later, a cousin in Australia decided to hand over the mission of planning their wedding in India to this couple as they wanted someone who could not only handle all aspects seamlessly but also add a personal touch, beyond the usual grandiose celebration. This wedding ended up paving the path for Samidha and Bharat to follow and they have planned multiple weddings since, in India as well as across Asia.

Being a certified Image Consultant for over a decade, Samidha advises couples on cutting edge trends and trousseau designing, brainstorms with them and helps them form a vision for their wedding. Her eye for detail is perfectly suited to pre-wedding shoots, styling for each event and make-up trials for brides. As an experienced trainer and L&D professional, she is a patient listener, sets realistic expectations and can easily adapt to the needs of clients. This, along with Bharat’s skills from working in large MNCs and launching holiday brands, event planning, brand management and strategy, make him the perfect executor to the fairy-tale wedding vision created by Samidha and the to-be-married couple.

How are destination weddings cheaper than traditional, at-home weddings?

The couple only has to spend on what’s needed for their own travel, accommodations, and wedding package details. Luckily, since destination weddings are typically in beautiful, exotic locales, the need for design and decor details is minimal. And since the breath-taking surroundings do the talking for you, there’s no need to splurge on extravagant elements you would use to decorate an at-home ceremony or reception space. How do I ensure my guests can afford to attend our destination wedding?

Traditionally, the best way to help ensure that your guests can afford to attend your destination wedding is to plan in advance, so they have ample time to plan and budget accordingly. It’s also important to consider the resort, destination, and time of year you’d like to marry. For example, a wedding in Thailand or Bali is more accessible and affordable and your guests will also like the idea of attending the wedding and extended their stay. Our hotels and resorts partners in Asia are well-versed in working with budgets of all sizes. We also work out special packages and group rates for your weddings, depending on the dates and how well in advance you are ready to put down a deposit.

Why are destination weddings less stressful to plan than traditional, at-home weddings?

Choosing to have a destination wedding means putting the reigns in the hands of experts (us!) This relieves you from a lot of stress in terms of coordinating travel, accommodations for a large group and the wedding details. With someone to do it all for you, there's no reason that planning a destination wedding can't be as relaxing as laying on the beach! Destination weddings also tend to have a smaller guest list, so there's less people (and opinions) you need to keep track of. Lastly, by booking with us, there's no need to have to find separate vendors like you would for an at-home wedding. We will take care of all the co-ordination needed with the finalised hotel/resort, florist. DJ, etc. We will even accompany you to recce the destination and the hotel/resort.

How far in advance should I be planning my destination wedding?

While 6-9 months is an ideal amount of time for securing the best travel rates, we have worked with couples that have planned gorgeous weddings with only a few months (or days!) to spare. If you do have time to plan further in advance, we always advise couples to start the process sooner rather than later, particularly with large groups. We will be more than happy to assist you at every step to ensure you find your wedding planning pleasant.
